SYNOPSIS
An alien corporate empire conducts a focus group to research the weaknesses
and strengths of the human race in preparation for the invasion of Earth.
The “target audience” includes a teenage princess, a geeky
college student, a post-ironic slacker/rebel, and a suicidal woman who may
be the voice of our troubled species. This
debut feature from directors Dominic Mah and Jennifer Phang offers a
satirical and lyrical look at today’s advertisement-addled lifestyle,
using thoughtful science fiction to probe some of humanity’s deepest
questions: What do we love?
Why do we hate? Is there
a reason why we have to receive so much junk mail?
